Interrupted Rothko. Some person below me stole my thoughts!

I personally think you did a wonderful job portraying the theme in such a simple way. I tend to try and find things when I look at any painting, and here I see some sort of white desert, a line of people and those two at the back losing contact from the rest of the group... it's kind of depressing when I think about it.

I love how you can see the canvas through the paint, it adds more texture and also creates an illusion of depth in this desert I'm seeing.

I'm a bit confused by the greenish splatter in the sky though, I can't really explain why but it doesn't convince me. It probably doesn't fit in my image of interrupted Rothko <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Wink/Razz" />

Overall, I really liked it, it really shows that sometimes simple is best, especially when you put the paint in the right places!
