Digital photo of a white tiger in the zoo in Amersfoort. I didn't think much of this photo until I saw those eyes. They seem to vaguely remember something.... perhaps a time where food wasn't on display in behind a glass window...

Recently I've been to the zoo in Rotterdam for a school assignment. I couldn't stay with the tigers for very long because I simply felt too frustrated and sad with the way they just kept walking back and forth. Maybe I read too much into their behaviour or expression, but I can't imagine that they're entirely happy in such a small enclosure. Still, that day in the zoo with you was fun, despite depressing animals. We made some good shots and I even did the little movie thing (which was quite a laugh, but still fun). I think that soon we should get as many friends together as possible and visit the zoo in Arnhem.
It would be a wretched life in a zoo. No wonder they spend so much time lying around. I keep on looking at that little leaf in the corner. It seems to match his eyes, even though it's a little darker.
Actually, I suppose if you want to put it that way, the people from the Amersfoort Zoo stole it from nature. Then again, it might be part of a breeding program to save the species from extinction, but what do you know?
