For quite a while now, I have been working with vintage cameras. Old East German models like Exakta and Praktica, the kind of machines designed to be run over by tanks and still function. As an artist, I have always felt that analogue photography lies the closest to the heart, away from the cold digital world of ones and zero's, of harsh definitions. However, I also like to work with photography in a more professional manner and in these days, that means owning and using a proper digital camera that can keep up with the speed of modern times.
Because I feel that digital photography is essentially different from traditional photography, I have created a second account here on deviantArt, named ~ZeroScape. This way, the people who are only interested in my analogue work will not be bothered by my digital experiments and can browse =Talescaper without scrutiny.
